Multimedia Annual Reports

‘Tis the season for reviewing annual reports. Every year, nonprofits seek to capture the heart of their organizations and the effectiveness of their programs in their annual reports. This traditional communications tool is evolving with the use of social media and digital technology. Check out these two digital reports from The Atlantic Philanthropies and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

There is indeed something very powerful about getting to watch videos of people nonprofit programs serve, and hearing people speak to you in their own voices, instead of relying on stagnant photos and words to convey the passion and emotion of nonprofit work.
